About Faith & Grace Clothing
Faith and Grace Clothing began around the time my daughter turned one. We were transitioning to a life of slower living and choosing quality over quantity. I wanted her to have a collection of clothing that she could wear to play in, were timeless designs, and would be pieces she could pass down to her children someday. I had a hard time finding anything in the store that matched that description so I began to make clothing for her myself. I fell in love with creating pieces for toddlers and that’s when I decided to start Faith & Grace Clothing. I chose the words faith and grace because those are the two things motherhood is built on. While it brings me tremendous joy to see little ones wearing my pieces, the real heart for Faith & Grace is to be a space for mothers to be connected to the Gospel and each other.
I first learned to sew when I was six years old. It is a skill that has been passed down from generation to generation in my family. I studied fashion design at a local college while I was still in high school. I started to date my husband shortly after my 17th birthday and we were later married on his family’s dairy farm under strings of lights and danced to acoustic music played by our dearest friends. We moved into an old farmhouse on part of that dairy farm and began renovating it with a dream to someday own it and raise our own children on the farm. We now have two children, a beautiful little girl named Liv, and a handsome baby boy named Harvey. God has given me the heart to show them the beauty of the world all around us through His creations in nature.
